Bridge Update

We received written approval from DEP to move forward with an in-kind bridge. The drawings are complete and under review by our engineers. Once complete, we plan to provide a community update and solicitation of bids. Targeting to share at the March board meeting.

Trucks on our Roads

10 TON ROAD WEGHT LIMIT REMAINS IN EFFECT
A SPRING THAW road weight limit of 10 tons is in effect until April 15th 2024.
Construction and contracting should be coordinated outside the spring thaw to protect wear and tear on the roads

New Board Members
Please welcome our newest Board Members –  Jeth Mill and Patti Doughty

Board Openings:
We will have 5 open board positions due to recent resignations & terms expiring.

Board Meeting:
Sunday, May 19th at 10 am in the Clubhouse.

Annual Board Election – It is now the time to submit your interest in becoming a board member. Deadline April 15.

Review Committee – There is an open community member position on the Review Committee.

News about our Dock

A new dock has been purchased as approved in the March board meeting. We are also finalizing the permitting of this dock with DEP. We anticipate delivery sometime this month.

Spongy Moth

Some property owners have inquired about spraying for SPONGY MOTHS. These are an invasive moth that can do damage to trees and live Oaks. Jeth Mill, our new board member has agreed to take on the Moth challenge.
Contact jethmill@msn.com and he would be interested in understanding how many property owners would be spraying and looking for volume discounts going forward.

Maintenance Days combine with Earth day

In honor of Earth Day, the Social Events Committee would like to join the TW Tinkerers in beautifying our community on Saturday, April 20th from 9:00-1:00.  The Tinkerers will begin their work on Friday April 19th at 8:30am and will gladly accept helpers on Saturday morning beginning at 9am as well.  A light breakfast will be provided both days to help get the ball rolling.

Road Work

Our Roads Committee has repaired several potholes, installed signs, and worked on culverts over the last few months. The Committee and Board are now working together to schedule contractor repairs. As specifics of contractor repairs are known, they will be announced on the website and by email. Road closures if required will be posted at the mail shack, on the website, and an email sent.

Garbage and Recycle

Please have your trash and recycle containers at the curb before 6 am. The cans should be placed 5 feet apart for easy pick-up. The recycle list can be found at Eastern Waste Recyclables. If you need to put your trash cans on the curb before Wednesday evening, you must close them with ratchet straps.
